Ingredients
4 tilapia fillets (fresh or thawed)
2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 tsp lemon zest
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley or lemon slices, for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with parchment or lightly grease it.
2. Pat tilapia dry and place fillets in a single layer in the dish.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil (or butter), garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, salt, and pepper.
4. Spoon mixture evenly over the fillets.
5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
6. Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices. Serve immediately.
Notes
• Serve with steamed veggies, rice, or a fresh green salad.
• You can substitute tilapia with cod, haddock, or swai.
• Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
