Ingredients
3 ripe pears, halved and cored
1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
1/3 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
3–4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon melted butter
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Fresh mint for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
2. Place pear halves cut-side up in the dish.
3. Brush pears with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
4. Fill each pear center with berries and chopped walnuts.
5. Crumble blue cheese generously over the top.
6. Drizzle lightly with honey.
7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until pears are tender and edges are caramelized.
8. Serve warm with a drizzle of honey and optional fresh mint.
Notes
Swap blue cheese for mascarpone or goat cheese for a milder flavor.
Add a sprinkle of nutmeg for extra warmth.
Pairs wonderfully with vanilla ice cream, yogurt, or a cheese board.
