Ingredients
For the Meatballs:
400 g ground beef or turkey
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional:
Marinara sauce
Fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray.
2. In a bowl, mix ground meat, ricotta, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, parmesan, seasoning, salt, and pepper.
3. Form mixture into small meatballs.
4. Place on baking tray evenly spaced.
5. Bake for 18–22 minutes until cooked through and lightly golden.
6. Serve with marinara sauce or over pasta.
7. Garnish with parsley and extra parmesan if desired.
Notes
Do not overmix to keep meatballs tender.
Use parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Add chili flakes for a spicy kick.
