Ingredients
1 lb smoked sausage or kielbasa, sliced into bite-size pieces
1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite variety)
2 tbsp brown sugar
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.
2. In a large bowl, toss sliced sausage with barbecue sauce and brown sugar until evenly coated.
3. Arrange sausage pieces in a single layer on the prepared sheet.
4. Bake for 15–18 minutes, flipping once halfway, until caramelized and sizzling.
5. Serve warm with toothpicks for easy grabbing.
Notes
Use spicy BBQ sauce for a kick or honey BBQ for a sweeter version.
These can also be made in a slow cooker—cook on LOW for 2–3 hours.
Great served over rice or skewered with pineapple chunks.
