Blackened Steak Shrimp Alfredo Recipe | Creamy Cajun Seafood Pasta

Blackened Steak Shrimp Alfredo Recipe

This blackened steak shrimp Alfredo combines tender Cajun-seasoned steak, juicy shrimp, and creamy Alfredo sauce over pasta for a bold, comforting seafood-meets-steakhouse dinner. Rich, flavorful, and surprisingly simple to make at home.

  • Total Time: 35 mins
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta

1/2 lb sirloin steak, sliced

1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (divided)

2 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley or Parmesan for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.

2. Season steak and shrimp with half the Cajun seasoning each.

3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sear steak slices for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

4. In the same pan, cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

5. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

6. Stir in heavy cream, remaining Cajun seasoning, and Parmesan. Simmer until slightly thickened, about 4–5 minutes.

7. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat. If needed, loosen sauce with reserved pasta water.

8. Return steak and shrimp to skillet. Stir to combine and heat through.

9. Garnish with parsley or Parmesan before serving.

Notes

Use blackened seasoning or Cajun blend based on spice preference.

Add spinach or mushrooms for extra texture and nutrition.

Great with fettuccine, linguine, or penne.
