These spicy blueberry brie jalapeño poppers are sweet, creamy, and spicy in one bite. Fresh jalapeños are filled with smooth brie cheese and blueberry preserves, then baked to melty perfection—an unforgettable appetizer for any gathering!

  • Total Time: 25 mins
  • Yield: 16 poppers 1x

Ingredients

Scale

8 fresh jalapeños, halved and seeded

4 oz brie cheese, cut into small slices

1/4 cup blueberry preserves or jam

1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

1 tbsp honey (optional drizzle)

Fresh thyme or rosemary (optional garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.

3. Place a slice of brie in each jalapeño half.

4. Top with a small spoonful of blueberry preserves.

5. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if using.

6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. Drizzle with honey and garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Wear gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid skin irritation.

Use goat cheese or cream cheese instead of brie for variation.

These can be made ahead and reheated before serving.
