Ingredients
1 lb chicken breast, sliced thin
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
9 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
1 tbsp butter (optional, for richness)
Salt & pepper, to taste
Chopped parsley or green onion, for garnish
Instructions
1. Season sliced chicken with Cajun seasoning.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer for 4–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Stir in Parmesan and butter, if using. Simmer until smooth and creamy.
6. Meanwhile, cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and add to sauce.
7. Return cooked chicken to skillet and toss everything together. Simmer for 2 more minutes.
8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley or green onions.
Notes
• Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for even more heat.
• Use shrimp instead of chicken for a Cajun seafood twist.
• Pairs perfectly with garlic bread or a crisp green salad.
