Ingredients
8 slices sandwich bread (sourdough or white)
2 tbsp butter, softened
8 slices cooked turkey breast (deli or leftover)
4 slices cooked bacon
4 slices cheddar cheese
1 tbsp Dijon mustard or mayo (optional)
Optional: tomato slices or caramelized onions for extra flavor
Instructions
1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
2. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
3. On the unbuttered side of 4 slices, layer 2 turkey slices, 1 slice bacon, and 1 slice cheddar. Add tomato or mustard if using.
4. Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side facing out.
5. Place sandwiches in skillet. Cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted.
6. Cut in half and serve warm.
Notes
• Swap cheddar for Swiss or pepper jack for a twist.
• Great use for Thanksgiving leftovers!
• Add fresh arugula or baby spinach after grilling for a fresh bite.
