Ingredients
1 package (20–25 oz) refrigerated or frozen cheese ravioli
2 large eggs
2 tbsp milk
1½ cups Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
For cooking:
Oil for frying or cooking spray for baking
For serving:
Warm marinara sauce
Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Cook ravioli according to package directions until just tender. Drain and let cool slightly.
2. In a bowl, whisk eggs with milk.
3. In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
4. Dip each ravioli into the egg mixture, then coat thoroughly with breadcrumb mixture.
5. For frying: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry ravioli in batches until golden, about 2–3 minutes.
6. For baking: Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C), place ravioli on a lined baking sheet, spray lightly with oil, and bake for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway.
7. Remove and drain on paper towels if fried.
8. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
• Do not overcook ravioli before breading.
• Freeze breaded ravioli before frying for extra crunch.
• Air fryer option: cook at 375°F for 8–10 minutes.
