Ingredients
2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed
1 tbsp baking powder (aluminum-free)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
Optional: buffalo sauce, BBQ sauce, or ranch for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Lightly grease the rack.
2. Pat chicken wings very dry with paper towels—this helps with crispiness.
3. In a large bowl, toss wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder until evenly coated.
4. Arrange wings in a single layer on the rack. Bake for 45–50 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden brown.
5. Optional: toss hot wings in your favorite sauce or serve dry with dip on the side.
6. Serve immediately and enjoy crispy oven-baked perfection!
Notes
• Drying wings thoroughly and using baking powder are key to maximum crispiness.
• For extra heat, add cayenne or toss with hot sauce before serving.
• Leftovers? Re-crisp in the oven or air fryer.
