Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Additional melted butter and sugar for brushing & coating
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a muffin tin.
2. Unfold puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Brush with melted butter.
3. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl, then sprinkle evenly over the buttered pastry.
4. Roll up tightly into a log (like cinnamon rolls). Cut in half lengthwise, exposing layers.
5. Roll each strip into a spiral, like a cinnamon bun. Place each spiral cut-side up into muffin tin cups.
6. Bake for 22–25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
7. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm for the best texture.
You can add orange zest to the cinnamon sugar for a citrus twist.
Best eaten the same day but can be refreshed in the oven the next day.
