Ingredients
🟡 For the Dough:
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/4 tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast
1 cup warm milk (110°F)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
1 tsp salt
🟡 For the Garlic Butter:
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
2. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
3. Knead dough for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic (by hand or mixer). Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour or until doubled.
4. Punch down dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape into balls and place in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
5. Cover and let rise again for 30–45 minutes until puffy.
6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake rolls for 18–20 minutes until golden on top.
7. Meanwhile, mix melted butter with garlic, parsley, and a pinch of salt.
8. Brush warm rolls with garlic butter and serve.
Notes
Make ahead: shape rolls and refrigerate overnight, then bake fresh the next day.
Use bread flour for extra chewy texture.
Leftovers reheat beautifully—wrap in foil and warm at 300°F for 10 minutes.
