Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp rice vinegar or lime juice
1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp olive oil (for searing)
1 green onion, thinly sliced (for garnish)
Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, vinegar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil.
2. Pat salmon dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
4. Place salmon fillets skin-side down (if using) and cook for 3–4 minutes.
5. Flip salmon and pour glaze over top.
6. Cook another 3–4 minutes, spooning glaze over fish, until salmon is cooked through and caramelized.
7. Remove from heat and rest 1–2 minutes.
8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
Notes
Pair with rice, quinoa, or steamed veggies for a full meal.
Use maple syrup instead of honey for a deeper sweetness.
Double the glaze and use it for stir-fried vegetables.
