Ingredients
1 1/2 cups almond flour
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips or chunks
Optional: flaked sea salt for topping
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. In another bowl, stir together melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms. Fold in chocolate chips.
5. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheet, flatten slightly.
6. Bake for 8–10 minutes until set on edges and soft in center.
7. Cool on pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
8. Sprinkle with flaked sea salt if desired and enjoy!
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Freeze baked cookies for up to 2 months.
Add chopped walnuts or shredded coconut for extra texture.
