Ingredients
1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
8 slices bacon, halved
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.
2. Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3–4 minutes until just tender. Drain and rinse with cold water.
3. Bundle 5–6 green beans and wrap with half a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
4. Place bundles seam-side down on prepared baking sheet.
5. Mix melted butter, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
6. Brush glaze over each bundle.
7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and caramelized.
8. Serve warm as a side dish or appetizer.
Notes
You can prep the bundles ahead and refrigerate before baking.
Use thin-cut bacon for crispier results.
Pairs well with roast chicken, steak, or holiday mains.
