Ingredients
500 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil or butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley or green onions, chopped (optional)
Instructions
1. Pat shrimp dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
5. Stir in honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and chili flakes.
6. Simmer sauce for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
7. Return shrimp to the pan and toss to coat evenly.
8. Cook 1–2 minutes more until glazed.
9. Serve hot, garnished with herbs if desired.
Notes
• Serve over rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables.
• Add ginger for extra depth of flavor.
• Best enjoyed fresh.
