Ingredients
2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz each)
1/4 lb deli ham
1/4 lb Genoa salami
1/4 lb pepperoni slices
8 slices provolone cheese
1/4 cup banana peppers, drained
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp Dijon or Italian dressing (optional)
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Unroll 1 can of crescent dough and press into a rectangle to form the base. Pinch seams together.
3. Layer half of the provolone, then ham, salami, pepperoni, banana peppers, and remaining provolone.
4. Spread optional Dijon or Italian dressing if using.
5. Top with second can of crescent dough, pinching seams and sealing edges.
6. Brush top with beaten egg and sprinkle with Parmesan and Italian seasoning.
7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
8. Let cool 5 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
Substitute meats or cheeses based on preference—turkey, mozzarella, etc.
Make it spicy with crushed red pepper or spicy giardiniera.
Great as a party appetizer cut into squares, or served with a side salad for dinner.
