Ingredients
For the Smokies:
500 g lil smokies sausages
For the Sauce:
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon mustard
Optional:
Chili flakes for spice
Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Place lil smokies in the crockpot.
2. In a bowl, mix barbecue sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard.
3. Pour the sauce over the sausages and stir to coat.
4. Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours or high for 1.5–2 hours.
5. Stir occasionally to ensure even coating.
6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
7. Garnish with parsley or chili flakes if desired.
8. Serve warm directly from the crockpot.
Notes
Use spicy BBQ sauce for extra kick.
Keep warm on “warm” setting for parties.
Add honey for a sweeter version.
Best served hot.
