Ingredients
For the Fish:
400 g white fish (cod or similar, cut into pieces)
1 cup flour
2 eggs (beaten)
1 cup breadcrumbs
Salt and pepper to taste
For Cooking:
Oil for frying
For the Lemon Butter:
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
For the Garlic Aioli:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional:
Fresh parsley
Chili flakes
Instructions
1. Season fish pieces with salt and pepper.
2. Coat each piece in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
3. Heat oil in a pan and fry fish until golden and crispy.
4. Remove and place on paper towels.
5. In a small pan, melt butter with garlic and lemon juice.
6. Drizzle lemon butter over the crispy fish bites.
7. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper for the aioli.
8. Serve fish bites with garlic aioli and garnish with parsley or chili flakes.
Notes
Use firm white fish for best texture.
Do not overcrowd while frying.
Serve immediately for crispiness.
