Ingredients
10 hard taco shells
500 g ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
1 packet taco seasoning
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
Optional toppings:
Shredded lettuce
Diced tomatoes
Sour cream
Salsa
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
3. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
4. Stir in taco seasoning and water, simmer for 3–5 minutes.
5. Arrange taco shells upright in a baking dish.
6. Fill each shell with seasoned beef.
7. Top generously with shredded cheese.
8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and shells are crispy.
9. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
Notes
• Use ground turkey or chicken as a substitute.
• Line the baking dish with foil for easy cleanup.
• Great for parties or quick weeknight dinners.
