Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt & black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp balsamic glaze (or reduced balsamic vinegar)
1/3 cup chopped pecans, toasted
1 tsp maple syrup or honey (optional, for added sweetness)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread in a single layer, cut side down.
3. Roast for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
4. While roasting, toast pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes, stirring often.
5. Remove sprouts from oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze and maple syrup if using.
6. Toss with toasted pecans and serve warm.
Notes
• Use balsamic glaze for sweetness or reduce vinegar on the stovetop until thick.
• Add dried cranberries or goat cheese for extra flair.
• This dish is naturally gluten-free and dairy-free.
