Delicious Snickerdoodle Cobbler Recipe – Easy & Chewy Dessert Delight

This Snickerdoodle Cobbler is chewy, gooey, and loaded with cinnamon sugar flavor. Part cookie, part molten cobbler—it’s the ultimate comfort dessert, especially served warm with ice cream.

  • Total Time: 55 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

• For the batter:

1 cup all-purpose flour

3/4 cup sugar

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

• For the topping:

1/2 cup sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon

• For the cobbler magic:

1 1/2 cups hot water

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease an 8×8 baking dish.

2. In a medium bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

3. Stir in milk, vanilla, and melted butter until smooth.

4. Spread batter evenly in baking dish.

5. Mix cinnamon and sugar together. Sprinkle mixture evenly over the batter.

6. Pour hot water gently over the entire dish—do not stir.

7. Bake for 40–45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.

8. Let cool 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

• Don’t stir after adding the hot water—the cobbler magic happens during baking.

• You can double the recipe and bake in a 9×13 pan.

• Swap cinnamon for pumpkin pie spice for a fall twist.
