Ingredients
For the Filling:
4 ripe bananas (sliced)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter (melted)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
For the Batter:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional:
Vanilla ice cream
Caramel drizzle
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Spread sliced bananas in a baking dish.
3. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon, then drizzle with melted butter.
4. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
5. Add milk and vanilla, whisk until smooth.
6. Pour batter over the bananas (do not mix).
7. Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
8. Let cool slightly before serving.
9. Serve warm with ice cream or caramel drizzle.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for best sweetness.
Do not stir batter after pouring.
Serve warm for best texture.
Store leftovers in fridge up to 3 days.
