Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 oz cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
1/4 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, beat butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients.
5. Fold in crushed freeze-dried strawberries and white chocolate chips, if using.
6. Scoop dough into balls (about 1.5 tbsp each) and place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
7. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are set and tops are just slightly golden.
8. Cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Freeze-dried strawberries work best for flavor and texture—avoid fresh or frozen.
Chill dough for 30 minutes before baking for thicker cookies.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
