Ingredients
For the Filling:
6 jalapeños (finely chopped)
200 g cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt to taste
For Assembly:
20 wonton wrappers
Water (for sealing)
Optional:
Sweet chili sauce or ranch for dipping
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) or heat oil for frying.
2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, jalapeños, green onions, garlic powder, and salt.
3. Place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface.
4. Add 1 tablespoon of filling in the center.
5. Wet the edges with water and fold into a triangle or seal as a pouch.
6. Repeat with remaining wrappers.
7. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden and crispy or fry until golden brown.
8. Let cool slightly and serve with dipping sauce.
Notes
Remove jalapeño seeds for less heat.
Do not overfill to avoid bursting.
Air fryer option: cook at 180°C for 8–10 minutes.
Best served fresh and crispy.
